EDP Renewables North America (EDPR NA) has announced that it has secured a 139MW 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Facebook for the energy produced from its Headwaters II Wind Farm in Randolph County, Indiana, USA. The 200 MW Headwaters II Wind Farm will produce enough clean electricity to power the equivalent of more than 52,000 homes each year.

Southern Power has announced that the 148MW Cactus Flats Wind Facility in Concho County, Texas is operational. The electricity and associated renewable energy credits (RECs) generated by the facility are being sold under two separate power purchase agreements with General Mills and General Motors.
