PowerWind GmbH, has sold its first 2.5MW wind turbine of type PowerWind 90 to project developer wpd.
The prototype, with a rotor diameter of 90 meters, will be erected in Bremerhaven, and the commissioning will be completed by the end of 2010. PowerWind did the site development and planning for wpd, and delivers the wind turbine fully operational.
