Offshore Marine Services (OMS), the German arm of Offshore Marine Management, has won a contract with Wetfeet Offshore Windenergy GmbH to provide marine installation services to a new wind park planned for the German North Sea.
The Global Tech 1 wind park will be one of the largest of its kind off the German coast when it is completed in 2013 and it will feature 80 5MW wind turbines. OMS has been awarded the contract to assist and supplement the Global Tech 1 management team for the safe and timely installation of the Global Tech 1 Offshore Wind Park. Specifically, the company will be providing senior management staff, offshore client representatives and technical personnel directly for the construction of the wind park.
