MunmuBaram has completed the Marine Traffic Safety Examination (MTSE), marking a key milestone in the permitting process for its floating offshore wind project off the coast of Ulsan, South Korea. The review assessed how the project could affect existing vessel routes and maritime safety.
During the process, MunmuBaram worked with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, relevant authorities, and local maritime stakeholders to gather feedback, align expectations, and develop measures to reduce potential navigation impacts.
The project now moves to the next permitting stage, which includes the Radio Wave Impact Assessment. Safety measures established through the MTSE will be incorporated into future development plans. MunmuBaram is owned by Hexicon.
