Evolve Energy has signed a long-term power purchase agreement with Shell Energy Europe for electricity generated by the Race Bank offshore wind farm in the North Sea. The agreement runs until 2035 and covers around 112 GWh of renewable electricity per year, totalling more than 1 TWh over its duration.
Under the agreement, Evolve Energy will supply the electricity to more than 80 industrial and commercial customers through a renewable basket model, aggregating demand across multiple organisations within a single framework.
The Race Bank offshore wind farm has an installed capacity of 573 MW and is located approximately 17 miles off the coast of North Norfolk and Lincolnshire.
