EDF Energies Nouvelles enters the Brazilian renewable energy market by setting up EDF EN do Brasil.
This new subsidiary has purchased a majority stake in the portfolio from SOWITEC with a total capacity of 800MW wind energy projects. SOWITEC remains involved in the portfolio with a minority stake of 20%.
