Corio Generation (Corio) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Power Generation Joint Stock Corporation 3 (EVNGENCO3), a subsidiary of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), a state-owned power company.
The MOU outlines collaborative efforts between the two entities to prepare long-term strategies for offshore wind project development. Since 2019, Corio has been developing a fixed-bottom project of up to 3 GW in Binh Thuan. Corio Generation, a portfolio company of Macquarie Asset Management, operates independently.
