Catch the Wind Ltd has announced that it has signed an agreement with GL Renewables Certification (GL), an independent certification body for renewable energies.
The agreement contains the certification of the safety and performance of the Vindicator LWS when it is installed on wind turbines, to validate the functionality of wind speed, wind direction measurement and yaw control. The certification will be valid for all makes and models of utility size wind turbines. The certification process was expected to be completed during October 2010.
