Anma Offshore Wind has obtained the final Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) approval for its 532MW offshore wind farm. This achievement comes after a 15-month consultation process, which commenced with the submission of the draft EIA back in April 2022.

Working closely with South Korea's Ministry of Environment, the company ensured that all environmental aspects were carefully addressed and considered. With the completion of the final EIA consultation, Anma Offshore Wind is now well-prepared to participate in the upcoming Renewable Portfolio Standard auction for wind projects, scheduled to take place later this year. Located approximately 40 km west of the southwestern coastline of the South Korean peninsula, the Anma Offshore Wind project site is situated adjacent to Anma Island in Yeonggwang Municipality, South Jeolla Province.
