Luxcara has acquired a wind energy project in Välikangas, Finland, from ABO Wind. The wind farm has all necessary permits for 24 turbines with a height of 220 metres as well as grid capacity for 100MW.
The project is located in the municipality of Haapajärvi. The German developer will also be responsible for the construction of a corresponding substation. Grid connection is scheduled for the summer of 2020. The electricity will be sold to an electricity purchaser directly via a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) without government subsidies.
