The wpd Group will in the future also be operating on the US market in the shape of wpd wind projects Inc.
The foundations for this move were laid with the signing of the contract to take over Volkswind USA Inc., with its head office in Portland, Oregon, USA. The company was founded in 2008. The team based there is working on various wind farm projects in different states of the USA.
