Sauer Energy, Inc., a developer of home and enterprise scale vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT) systems, announced that commercial production of the WindCharger will commence in November of 2011. This will transition Sauer Energy from a research and development only company to a sales and marketing company.

As Sauer Energy enters into the sales phase, they will reinvest revenues to develop other applications for its technology. Sauer Energy is in the process of expanding its current facility now to combine all efforts to provide a platform for finish assembly and further research and development. The new facility will be compliant for procurement of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) projects. Future goals include subsequent plants in strategic locations to meet the expanding demand for increased production.
