Polytech has appointed René Balle as Chief Executive Officer. René Balle brings more than 20 years of experience from the wind industry. He spent more than 12 years at KK Wind Group, most recently serving as President of the Power & Controls Division. He previously held the roles of Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Technology Officer.
Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Technology Officer at AREVA Wind and as Vice President Technology Research & Development at Vestas. Before that, he worked at Radiometer, a company owned by Danaher.
René Balle will join Polytech on 1 August 2026. Until then, Chief Financial Officer Henrik Lykke Søberg and Chief Commercial Officer Thorbjørn N. Rasmussen will continue to lead the company.
