Vestas inaugurates its new technology centre in Chennai, India.

The centre, spread over a more than 60,000 square feet area and located at TECCIRajiv Gandhi Salai, Chennai, will house Vestas Technology R&D's future activities in. The centre will play a vital role in Vestas' global, long-term dedication to R&D in cooperation with Vestas' technology centres in Denmark,United Kingdom,Singapore and the USA. At the moment, more than 100 employees work at the Chennai centre making it the largest Vestas Technology R&D facility outside Denmark. The number of employees is expected to climb to more than 500 over the next five years.
