energy consult, which is part of the PNE Group, has acquired Rope Access Solutions (RAS) in Bremen, Germany and integrated it into its wholly owned subsidiary MEB Safety Services (MEB).
RAS is a provider of rope access technology and offers rotor blade and tower services for wind power turbines in addition to services in other industrial sectors for work at heights and in depths. MEB Safety Services was taken over by energy consult in 2018 and is now a service provider for various safety systems in wind power turbines with a focus on operating equipment tests, obstruction marking as well as fire alarm and extinguishing systems. Rope Access Solutions and MEB Safety Services will be maintained as brands. The management of MEB consists of the Managing Directors Henning Wegner and Malte Mehrtens and will be supplemented by Alexander E. Voigt as an authorised signatory.
