In 2023, Boskalis’ Offshore Energy business unit saw a 41% increase in revenue, alongside a solid operational performance. All business units contributed positively to the financial figures, with the offshore wind segment leading the growth.
 
Half of the Offshore Energy divisional revenue came from offshore wind projects, with Boskalis engaged in 29 projects globally, including installations in Taiwan, Europe, and the USA. Overall, revenue across all divisions rose by 20% to EUR 4.28 billion (up from EUR 3.58 billion in 2022). EBITDA rose by 68% to EUR 1,016 million (compared to EUR 604 million in 2022), and EBIT increased by 135% to EUR 701 million (compared to EUR 298 million in 2022). Net profit almost doubled, reaching EUR 601 million from EUR 241 million in 2022. The order book currently stands at EUR 6.0 billion, indicating a positive outlook for 2024 given the healthy backlog and market conditions.
