The Agencia Nacional de Hidrocarburos (ANH) from Colombia has released draft terms of reference for its inaugural offshore wind auction. Interested parties will have until May of next year to specify project geographical limits.
Following that, a competitive bidding procedure will take place, with the results expected to be published in November 2024. The auction will award power purchase agreements for projects with a minimum capacity of 200MW in Caribbean seas off the coasts of Atlántico and Bolvar. The draft documents will be available for public comment until November 16 2023 with definitive terms of reference scheduled to be published on December 4 2023.
