It’s a step change in safety, economy and efficiency.
With lidar technology having matured in the previous decade, data produced by lidar measurement are considered just as ‘bankable’ as data from a conventional metrological wind measurement mast, when appropriately sited. As such, lidars meet all the requirements that both the wind industry and those that finance their projects demand.
