The connected gearbox can automatically sense the best way to optimise energy generation and improve turbine economics for any wind site condition. This approach will help customers to better plan for maintenance work and fine-tune the actual load on the gearbox. The products are available now, reducing cost of energy (COE) and ready for forward selling enabling turbine manufacturers to win auctions.
