In cooperation with industrial partner FORCE Technology, LORC will establish a climatic chamber for exposure of structures and components to varying climatic conditions, primarily low and high temperatures, temperature cycles and corrosive environments.
The climate chamber has now been ordered and the opening of the test centre is expected at the end of 2015. The climate chamber is being prepared for the testing of large components measuring 14 x 8 x 8 meters. The aim is use the climate chamber for the testing of cooling systems, transformers, hydraulic systems, generators, gears, etc. The climate chamber is part of the new test centre for large components, structures and foundations.
