IMCA signs MOU with Business Network Offshore WindThe international Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Business Network for Offshore Wind (the Network) to develop the offshore wind renewable energy industry and its supply chain in the USA.
 
The purpose of the collaboration is to share knowledge concerning the industry’s safety and productivity that will promote investment and support its future growth.
 
IMCA represents the vast majority of offshore marine contractors and the associated supply chain in the world, with members from over 65 countries. It publishes a technical library of guidance documents on operational good practice, safety promotional materials, timely information notes and safety flashes.
 
The Business Network for Offshore Wind is a non-profit, educational organisation with a mission to develop the offshore wind renewable energy industry and its supply chain. With offices in Maryland, Virginia, and Rhode Island the Network partners with industry and government to build a supply chain that will create and sustain jobs, benefiting local economies and ensuring a cost-effective clean energy portfolio.
