Vela Software Group (Vela), an operating group of Canadian public company Constellation Software, has acquired SeaRoc Group (SeaRoc), a United Kingdom operating company based in Chichester, UK.
SeaRoc was formed in 2002 and has grown under the Fred. Olsen Group to provide Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions (SeaPlanner and SitePlanner) with associated hardware, to optimise safety and efficiency within large scale, hazardous operational and construction environments. Going forward, SeaRoc will continue to operate as an independent business unit within Vela. Vela is a global provider of software solutions to several vertical industries. As an Operating Group of Constellation Software, Vela acquires, manages, and builds specific software businesses which provide specialised, mission-critical software solutions.
