Van Oord has installed the last of the in total 44 wind turbines of the Belgian Norther offshore wind farm. Van Oord was contracted as main contractor.
The entire scope, from cable installation and burial, installation of the Offshore High Voltage Station (OHVS) to turbine installation, was completed ahead of schedule and in less than 9 months. The 370MW offshore wind farm supplies almost 400,000 households with renewable energy.
