Mingyang Smart Energy has won a contract in China for its 10+ platform with Guangdong Electric Power Development (Yuedian). The combined 1GW order is for two wind farms in deep sea zones in Guangdong Province.
The 600MW Qingzhou 1 and 400MW Qingzhou 2 wind farms will be equipped with the MySE 11-230 typhoon-proof hybrid-drive offshore wind turbines. The MySE 11-230 features a 203-meter diameter rotor with an 11MW rated output. The two projects are scheduled to be commissioned by 2023.
