LM Wind Power, a GE Renewable Energy business, has announced its plan to recruit 300 additional employees at its wind turbine blade manufacturing site in Bergama, Turkey.

The expanded production workforce will allow LM Wind Power to respond to the growing global demand for wind power by exporting blades to markets worldwide, including in Europe and Asia. Inaugurated in July 2017, the Bergama facility became the fifteenth LM Wind Power factory and the first opened after the company became a GE Renewable Energy business. Today the site counts 450 employees, 26 percent of whom are women.
