A2SEA has announced that the company had just installed turbine number 1,000 in its 12 year history. The 1,000th turbine was installed by Sea Jack at the Gwynt y Môr Offshore Wind Farm in the Irish Sea.
A2SEA has installed close to half of the Northern Europe’s offshore wind farms. At the moment A2SEA is installing foundations and turbines at West of Duddon Sands (Sea Installer) and turbines at Gwynt y Môr (Sea Jack and soon to join Sea Worker). In the beginning of 2014, Sea Challenger will join the fleet as the second new building from Cosco, China and she will be deployed at Westermost Rough from summer 2014.
