The Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC), an international body on wind energy, will launch its chapter in India to promote the development and growth of wind power in the country. Brussels-headquartered GWEC has presence in the US, Europe, Australia, China and Japan and brings together national and international wind energy associations, policy makers, manufacturers and industries in this sector.
