The Dutch company AE Rotor Techniek has contracted ECN Wind Energy to assist in the design of a new blade.
The Indian wind turbine manufacturer Suzlon owns AE Rotor Techniek. Suzlon designs and manufactures wind turbines up to a rated power of 2MW. ECN takes care of the aerodynamic design only. ECN has developed several design tools and models for the design of cost efficient and reliable blades and wind turbines over the last years.
