RES has submitted a planning application for their fourteen-turbine Unshinagh Wind Farm, four kilometres west of Carnlough in Northern Ireland.
If approved, Unshinagh would deliver electricity generation for around 70,000 homes. RES has been gathering detailed environmental and technical information about the site and has received valuable feedback during the public consultation. The results of the environmental work, together with the consultation feedback, has been used to inform the detailed design of the proposed wind farm.
