MHI Vestas Offshore Wind (MHI Vestas) has announced that 148 employees will be let go from three of its Danish manufacturing facilities.

Beginning in September 2020, staff from its blade facility in Nakskov, the nacelle factory in Lindø, and the PCM facility in Esbjerg will be let go. The company attributed the lay-offs to delays in its project pipeline; the growth that was anticipated in production will not materialise as expected.
