East Anglia One jacketVan Oord started its next campaign to install jackets at the East Anglia ONE wind farm. The wind farm’s 102 three-legged jacket foundations will be installed at depths of down to 55 metres in the southern North Sea, located 45 kilometres southeast of Lowestoft, UK.
 
ScottishPower Renewables commissioned Van Oord to function as the contractor for this project, responsible for transport and installation of the offshore wind turbine foundations, including logistics and deployment of the equipment. Currently 12 jackets have already been installed on the pre-installed piles. With a total of 102 Siemens 7MW wind turbines East Anglia ONE wind farm will have a capacity of 714 MW and will become operational in 2020.
