Windar Renovables is opening a new factory in Rostov, located in south- west Russia, for the production of onshore wind towers for the local market. The factory will be the fourth plant outside of Spain.
The factory will feature a workshop and warehouse of 15,000 and 60,000 square metres respectively. The company expects to hire 200 people for the facility. The company has teamed up with Severstal, a mining and steel company and RusNano an investment fund, to run the factory.
