Mantsbrite Limited has won the contract to fit out the next Tidal Transit offshore wind farm personnel transfer vessel ‘Tia Elizabeth'.

All the navigation and communication equipment for the first two vessels in the Tidal Transit fleet was supplied and installed by Mantsbrite, and the specification for ‘Tia Elizabeth' remains unchanged with the exception of the addition of a seabed monitoring system and the use of new ultra sonic wind sensors. Mantsbrite will assemble and test all the equipment in its workshops at Maldon in Essex. It will then be packed and shipped to the boat builders, Mercurio Plastics in Cartagana, Spain, to await the arrival of the Mantsbrite engineers who will undertake the installation and commissioning process. Tidal Transit is expecting to take delivery of ‘Tia Elizabeth' in May 2013.
