MLS UK Ltd. has announced its new company name StrathControl. The new name, StrathControl, more accurately reflects the company’s renewed focus on control engineering products and services for the renewable energy industry and is designed to underline its origins as a Strathclyde University spin-off.
StrathControl’s core competency of control engineering technology will be used to enhance new products while continuing to service the needs of existing customers. New products include the Intelligent Actuator, individual blade control solution; the control system design Toolbox version 3.0 and a Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) test tool. Core services include wind and tidal turbine simulation and loads analysis; supervisory and dynamic controller design; implementation of control algorithms and turbine controller upgrades and retrofits.
