PEC Energia, an Engeform Energia Renovável company, has signed an agreement with Vestas to power the 86MW Serra das Vacas wind park in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil. The project will feature 19 V150-4.5MW wind turbines that Vestas will supply and install.
 
Upon completion, Vestas will also deliver a 25-year service agreement. The wind turbines will be locally produced under the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) FINAME rules. Turbine delivery and commissioning are planned for 2024.
 
Vestas has secured a 29MW order with Shimizu Corporation for Makikawa Masaki Wind Farm project in Ehime prefecture, Japan. Owned by GF Corporation and JR East Energy Development Co., Ltd., the project will be constructed by Shimizu Corporation and will feature eight V105-3.45MW wind turbines in 3.6MW operating mode. Vestas will also deliver 20 years of service for the wind farm. Delivery of the turbines for Makikawa Masaki Wind Farm will begin in the first quarter of 2025, with commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025.
 
Vestas has received a 67MW order from Red Rock Power Limited for the Benbrack wind farm located in Dumfries and Galloway in Southwest Scotland. The order includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of 13 V136-4.5MW turbines and two V117-4.2MW turbines in 4.3MW operating mode. Vestas will also service the turbines under a long-term service agreement. Deliveries and installation of the wind turbines are expected to begin in early 2024, while commissioning is expected to complete by the middle of the same year.
 
Vestas has received a 40MW order from Eurowind Energy for the Nørre Økse Sø repowering project in Northern Denmark. The order includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of 11 V126-3.45MW turbines in 3.6MW operating mode, which will replace the site’s current legacy wind turbines. The order also includes a 20-year service agreement. Deliveries and installation at the Nørre Økse Sø wind project are expected to begin in the second quarter of 2023, while commissioning is planned to end in the fourth quarter of 2023.
 
PLT engineering S.r.l has placed a 39MW order for the Borgia wind park, to be located in the region of Calabria, in Italy. The order includes the supply and installation of seven V136-4.2MW and  two V117-4.2MW wind turbines, all of them delivered in 4.3MW power mode. The contract also includes a 20-year service agreement for the maintenance of the wind park. Turbine delivery and commissioning are planned by the first half of 2023.
 
Vestas has received a 27MW order for the Aquilonia and Forenza wind parks, to be located in the regions of Campania and Basilicata, in Italy. The order includes the supply and installation of two V100-2.0MW in 2.2MW operating mode and two V126-3.45MW wind turbines, delivered in 3.8MW power mode, for the 12MW Aquilonia wind park and four V126-3.45MW wind turbines, delivered in 3.8MW power mode, for the 15MW Forenza project. The order, placed by IVPC Power 10 and IVPC Power 6, both part of the IVPC Group, also includes a 10-years service agreement for the maintenance of the wind parks. Turbine delivery and commissioning are planned by the first quarter of 2023.
 
Vestas has secured a 261 MW order for the Serra das Almas wind park, which is located at the municipality of Urandi, in the state of Bahia. The order, placed by EDF Renewables in Brazil, includes the supply and installation of 58 V150-4.5 MW wind turbines as well as 28-year service agreement. The wind turbines will be locally produced under the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) FINAME rules.
 
Vestas has received a 266 MW order to power the Goodnight I wind project, owned by Omega Energia, in Texas, USA. The order consists of 59 V136-4.5 MW turbines, as well as a 30 service agreement. The order includes supply and commissioning of the turbines. Turbine delivery begins in the second quarter of 2023 with commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2023.
