The American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) has announced the first annual Cleanpower Conference and Exhibition is cancelled due to the COVID-19 worldwide pandemic.
COVID-19 government imposed physical and legal impediments including quarantines, stay-at-home orders, and travel restrictions, and concerns over the well-being and safety of all attendees, exhibitors and staff, result in Cleanpower 2020 no longer being viable and the organisation is unable to reschedule the event. Cleanpower 2021 will be held June 7 – 10, 2021 in Indianapolis, IN, USA. In the meantime AWEA is working on virtual educational and networking opportunities that will take place throughout the spring. At this time, the remaining 2020 AWEA events are scheduled to proceed as planned, however, AWEA continues to monitor the evolving global pandemic situation and will announce any adjustments or cancellations should they become necessary.
