EMYN (Eoliennes en Mer Iles d’Yeu et de Noirmoutier) has obtained on October 29, 2018 the necessary prefectural authorisations for the project for the grounded offshore wind farms off the islands of Yeu and Noirmoutier, France.
EMYN, supported by ENGIE, EDPR and la Banque des Territoires, will now be able to prepare the construction of the farm (foundations, electric substation, etc.) and proceed with the calls to tender for subcontractors to manufacture and install the components. These two farms will have a capacity of 1GW of cumulative power.
