Siemens Gamesa has secured three new orders from two local independent power producers (IPP) for the supply of 60MW for three onshore wind farms in Greece.
The company has signed an agreement for the supply of turbines at two different wind farms: 8 units of G114-2.0MW at the Kali Hitsa wind farm (16MW), located in the Aetolia-Acarnania region, in the south of the country, and 12 G90-2.0MW at the Litharoserma wind farm (24MW), located in the same region. A third project has been awarded by another local IPP for the supply of 10 turbines of 2MW (20 MW). The turbines will be supplied during the second half of 2018 and the company will provide operations and maintenance services at these three wind farms for the next ten years.
