Vestas has received an order in the USA for 136MW of turbines including both the 2MW and 4MW platforms. The project includes V136-3.45MW turbines in Power Optimized Mode to 3.6MW, as well as V110-2.0MW turbines.
The project, which includes previously purchased PTC components, has a total size of 150MW and consists of 47 turbines. Delivery is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2018, with commissioning planned for the fourth quarter. The order includes supply and commissioning of the wind turbines as well as a multi-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM5000) service agreement. The project and customer are undisclosed at the customer's request.
