Tower Tech Systems to build 34 large wind energy support structures |

Tower Tech Holdings announced that its subsidiary Tower Tech Systems has begun production on an increased order of 34 large Wind Tower Support Structures for Gamesa Eolica.
The letter of intent confirmed Gamesa Eolica's purchase of 22 Wind Tower Support Structures, model G87-78M, from Tower Tech. Tower Tech has now begun manufacturing those 22 Wind Tower Support Structures plus an additional 12 towers added during negotiations with Gamesa Eolica. The four-section Wind Tower Support Structures are 257 feet tall and weigh 187 tons apiece. The multi-phase, utility-scale wind project will place wind turbines on 60 wind farms in four Illinois counties. |
