ENVision contracts GL for certification Print E-mail

Chinese wind turbine manufacturer Envision Energy Co., Ltd. Services signed a contract on wind turbine certification with Germanischer Lloyd (GL).

The contract includes A-Design Assessments of six turbine variants and comprises certification for an onshore wind turbine of 1.5MW (EN 15-77 and EN 15-82) for both 50 Hz- and 60 Hz-markets. The plausibility check of the 1.5 MW wind turbine was the first step of certification for Envision Energy.The contract has commenced and will result in first statements of compliance for the A-Design Assessment in 2010. For export purposes Envision Energy is interested to provide evidence that its technology applies to both 50 Hz and 60 Hz grids.
