‘Wind: Thriving at the Epicenter of Energy'
The WINDPOWER 2008
Conference and Exhibition will take place from 1 to 4 June in Houston, Texas, USA. The WINDPOWER 2008 Conference
programme will have over 50 education sessions, and include over 350 speakers
and moderators, and 150 poster presentations on wind energy topics. The event
will feature several general sessions, including the conference theme session,
‘Wind: Thriving at the Epicenter of Energy', consisting of a panel of top wind
industry leaders. The focus of their discussions will include their
perspectives on the wind industry's future and major opportunities and
challenges while the industry continues to grow.
Each year, the WINDPOWER
conference brings together the industry's wind energy professionals from around
the world for 3 days of conference sessions, and a trade show where exhibitors
showcase their products and services. This year around 700 exhibitors (up from
420 last year) will display their products and services. Windtech International invited the exhibiting companies
to tell us what they will have on display during the show, especially their new
products. On page 21 of the June 2008 issue you will find this preview.
