Hansen Transmissions International N.V. has been granted the ISO 14001 certificate for the environment management system in its plant in Lommel, Belgium.

Hansen Transmissions' environment management system in Lommel has been certified with the ISO 14001 standard by Lloyd's Register. Energy, storage of products, air emission and waste are the central themes in Hansen's environment policy. Reducing the overall energy consumption, taking stock of the raw materials present at the site, monitoring the use of chemical substances, generating even more separate waste streams and an integral waste management are just a few objectives included in Hansen's year action plan.
