Nordex Italia has been awarded three new orders from its key customer, Greentech Energy Systems A/S.

Nordex is to supply and install a total of 89 turbines from the N90/2300 and S77/1500 series with a rated output totalling 185MW. The order, including two years service, is worth around € 190 million. The "Messina" project (21 x N90/2500) is to be implemented on Sicily, the "Grighine" (43 x N90/2300) and the "Energia Alternativa" wind parks (25 x S77/1500) on Sardinia. The "Energia Alternativa" project is an extension of a wind park only recently set up by Nordex, consisting of 14 S77/1500 turbines. The wind park plants will be constructed in the period from spring to the end of 2008.
