3TIER has announced Richard J. Taggart, retired Weyerhaeuser Company executive vice president and chief financial officer, was elected to 3TIER's board of directors at their meeting on October 23.

Taggart spent more than 30 years in positions of increasing responsibility at Weyerhaeuser, North America's largest forest products company with annual sales of US$ 21.9 billion. He served as executive vice president and chief financial officer from April 2003, until his retirement in June of 2007. Prior to 2003, he served as vice president for five years and was the vice president of Investor Relations from 1996 to 1998.
