NRG Systems announced that all anemometers for wind assessment from NRG Systems will be calibrated effective August 1, 2007.

The cost of using calibrated anemometers in an assessment system is relatively low. The NRG #40C calibrated anemometer has an industry trade price of US$ 285. A typical 60-meter wind assessment tower uses four to six anemometers. There is no increase in cost for customers already purchasing complete 60-meter HD NRG Now Systems using calibrated anemometers.
