Horizon Wind Energy purchases Arlington project Print E-mail
Wednesday, 14 February 2007

Horizon Wind Energy, a Houston-based subsidiary of Goldman Sachs, has purchased a 200MW wind project from Columbia Energy Partners (CEP).

Located south of the Columbia River and west of Arlington, the purchase includes leases for nearly 15,000 acres of property, five years of on-site wind data, permits for phase-one construction of 104MW, and 200MW of point-to-point transmission on the Bonneville Power Administration's (BPA) system. Access to BPA's Jones Canyon substation on the site was included in the sale, Horizon Wind Energy adds.
