The World's Largest and Most Anticipated Annual Event for Wind Energy
The WINDPOWER 2009 Conference and Exhibition will take place from 4 to 7 May in Chicago, Illinois, USA. This year’s conference programme includes over 300 speakers and moderators, 150 poster presentations, and 50 sessions on wind energy topics organised into sections with policy, business and technical focuses. More than 13,000 visitors are expected, and there are over 1,000 exhibitors presenting their products and services on the exhibition floor. Windtech International invited the exhibiting companies to tell us what they will have on display during the show, especially their new products. Europe's Premier Wind Energy Event
Players in the wind energy business from all over Europe will be meeting in Marseille, France, from 16 till 19 March at the European Wind Energy Conference (EWEC) organised by the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA). Over 6,000 people are expected to attend EWEC 2009. Speakers will include policy makers, company executives, scientists, engineers, environmentalists and financial experts.

International Trade Fair for the Wind Power Industry
This year HUSUM WindEnergy, with its accompanying trade symposia, will take place from 9 to 13 September. Having started life in 1989 as a local event with 29 exhibitors, in 2007 the trade fair brought together 640 exhibitors from 30 countries and over 18,000 trade visitors from about 40 nations in the North Frisian coastal town. This year the organisers are expecting around 700 companies, including wind turbine manufacturers, suppliers and service providers from 35 nations, and 20,000 visitors from 40 countries.

‘Wind: Thriving at the Epicenter of Energy'
The WINDPOWER 2008
Conference and Exhibition will take place from 1 to 4 June in Houston, Texas, USA. The WINDPOWER 2008 Conference
programme will have over 50 education sessions, and include over 350 speakers
and moderators, and 150 poster presentations on wind energy topics. The event
will feature several general sessions, including the conference theme session,
‘Wind: Thriving at the Epicenter of Energy', consisting of a panel of top wind
industry leaders. The focus of their discussions will include their
perspectives on the wind industry's future and major opportunities and
challenges while the industry continues to grow.

Arriving from all corners of Europe, players in the wind energy business will meet from 31 March till 3 April at the European Wind Energy Conference (EWEC) organised by the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) in Brussels, Belgium. The event will bring together around 4,000 delegates, 200 speakers, 40 sessions, 200 exhibitors and 300 poster presenters.
