Windar Photonics has received a new order for 25 ‘WindEYE’ LiDAR units from a newly-appointed regional distributor in the Chinese market. The financing will be provided by Denmark's export credit agency, Eksport Kredit Fonden.
The units are expected to be delivered in the first half 2017. The newly appointed distributor is working closely with original equipment manufacturers in the Chinese market targeting new LiDAR integration projects, and the LiDAR units are expected to be installed and commissioned shortly after delivery. In addition the company has extended its distribution network further in the first quarter, and now has 13 regionally-appointed distributors throughout Asia, Europe and Americas.
