Zensor has announced a single digit million investment from the German SHS Ventures GmbH together with business angel Paul Kumpen. The Belgian start-up, providing intelligent structural health monitoring solutions for wind power generating infrastructure, aims to grow in the short term on the European market of integrity management solutions.
The company specialises in condition monitoring, which covers the process of collecting, processing and analysing the data obtained from sensors into actionable insights. The company was founded in 2013 by Yves van Ingelgem as a spin-off of the Vrije Universiteit Brussels (VUB). Currently customers are in Belgium France, UK, and The Netherlands. The team has 6 full-time members and works from their office in Brussels, Belgium.
